1.
In times past, long ago, the prophets spoke in the holy scriptures. They announced the gospel of God, the message of the cross of Jesus Christ. The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, But to us who are being saved it is the power of God! I'm not ashamed of the Good News. It is the very power of God for all who will believe in it: The Jew, and, yes, for all of us—for all who believe. For in the Good News of the gospel we see a righteousness from God; A righteousness that is by faith, by faith from first to last. Just as it is written, "The righteous shall live by faith."
2.
The wrath of God is seen coming from heaven against all godlessness, Against the evil of those who in their wickedness suppressed the truth. It is not that they do not know the truth of God, indeed! It is plain before their eyes.
3.
I was arrested, I was arrested the other day. They threw me into prison and they tossed the keys away. There were three witnesses who put me there by what they saw. They were the Creation, my own Conscience, and the Law. Now Mr. Creation said that I enjoyed him every day, But I never thanked God or acknowledged Him in any way. Mr. Law's testimony, it made me weep and moan. He said that I had broken every single one of his bones. When my conscience tried to speak out, I put my fingers in my ears. That alone was enough to convict me -- I've been doing that for years. Now what can I do? There is no defense for me. If I'm given justice, I'll be lost for eternity.
4.
Your hands are defiled with blood and your fingers drip with iniquity. Your lips have spoken lies and you mutter wicked things. No one calls for justice and no one pleads his case with integrity. Men love darkness rather than light because their deeds are evil. There is no righteousness, there is no justice, Our sins have separated us from God. I tell you men love darkness rather than light Because their deeds are evil. Their deeds are evil deeds and acts of violence are in their hands. Their feet rush into sin; They are swift, oh so swift to shed innocent blood. Their thoughts are such evil thoughts That destruction marks out the path they walk. Groping in darkness, shunning the light, Closing their ears to the Almighty's call; Feeling their way in the starless night They stagger, they trip, they stumble, they fall. Men love darkness, etc. Six things God hates; seven He abominates: Haughty eyes, lying tongue, guilty hands, scheming heart, Evil feet, false lips, peace breakers.
5.
There is no one righteous, no, not one. There is none who understands, no, not one. All have turned aside, they have gone out of the way, Together they have all gone wrong. There is no one righteous, no, not one. There is none who does good, no, not one. None who offers kindness, no, not one. Their tongues have used deceit, Their mouths are used for treachery, Their throats are open graves! There is none who does good, no not one. Lips are drooling poison, mouths are full Of bitterness and cursing, every one. Feet are swift to bring destruction, death and misery, There is no fear of God. The world is held accountable and there is nothing to say in self-defense. There are no excuses, no, not one. There are no excuses, no not one. Every mouth will be stopped.
6.
But Now 02:37
But now we see a righteousness from God apart from all the law. And it was witnessed by the law and prophets. This is what they saw: The perfect righteousness of God to all of us who do believe And this righteousness is for those who sin; how great the sinner's need. And even though we sinned and tried to hide, ashamed to see God's face; Yet He has planned a way to justify us freely by His grace: It is redemption through Christ Jesus, sacrificed for all our sin! He's our righteousness and justifies all those who have faith in Him. How can we boast new when there is no room to show what we've achieved? Are we made righteous by our "great success?" No, it can never be. For we are justified by faith, our sins are washed, we are made new. And this righteousness is one and the same for Gentiles and for Jews.
7.
It is by grace that we are saved through faith. It was nothing of our own. Our salvation is the gift of God! No one can brag that he has earned the love of God. Where then is boasting? It is excluded. Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom or the strong man of his strength. Let not the rich man boast of his riches or the tall man boast of his length. Let not the young man boast of his youth or composer of her song. Let not the drummer boast of his beat or the singer that his note is long. Let not the beauty boast of her looks, the investor boast about his wealth. Let not the giver boast of his gifts or the faster boast of his health. Let not the elder boast of his age or explorer of his search. Let not the dancer boast of her feet or the pastor boast about his church. Don't boast about tomorrow for tomorrow may not be. Don't boast about how long your prayers are or what you do for Me. Don't boast: pride always falls before too long. God chose the weak to save the strong; He's chosen fools to shame the wise. It is not by our own works that we are saved so none of us can boast! Let not the writer boast of his prose or the buyer boast about his deal. Let not the mother boast of her kids or the zealot boast of his zeal. Let not the driver boast of his car, or the lawyer of his fee; Let not the painter boast of his strokes or the family boast about its tree! But let the one who boasts, O, let him boast of this: That you know Me and understand that I am the Lord Who exercises kindness, justice, righteousness.
8.
Blessed is the man whose transgressions are forgiven. When I was silent my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long, For day and night your hand was heavy on me And my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover my iniquity. I said, "I will confess my sin to the Lord." And he forgave the guilt of my sin! Blessed is the man whose transgression are forgiven, carried away, transgressions forgiven.
9.
Since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our blessed Lord Jesus Christ. And he invites us in to stand in his grace, so whatever our lot we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God, Because God’s love has been poured into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us. At exactly the right time, exactly the right time Jesus died, Jesus died for me. O! When I was poor and helpless, buried by sin, I couldn't get free. What a great demonstration, a great demonstration of God's love to me even then. He not only rescued me from sin and death but He made me his friend. Scarcely would anyone die for a righteous man, Though for a good man someone might dare to die. God shows his love for us, He shows his love In that while we were still sinners Jesus gave Himself for us at exactly the right time.
10.
Dead To Sin 00:58
Dead to sin, alive to God. Do not let sin reign over you, but give yourselves to God as those alive from the dead. Dead to sin, alive to God in Christ Jesus.

A Lovely Day 04:43
A lovely day, sun was bright. I smiled to myself, things were all right. Life was at peace, but soon there would be war, for sin was crouching at my door. And its desire was for me. I turned quickly, horrible to see. As I took a startled breath, his goal for me was death. But one more look, makes good sense. Just a touch, experience. Know I should run away. But only one time. Will I really have to pay? And then he held out his hands. He crouched no more, wanted just one dance. "Let's do a waltz." Should have known, so tall, so strong...How could it be so wrong? As long as I'm in control nothing can infect my soul. I'll take the lead. He's so calm, so tame, so staid. Why should I be afraid? Thank you sir, I've had enough. We'll rest awhile your waltz is tough. Catch my breath, then we can try to dance again until that time I'll say, "Good-bye" so... Please, please let me go. Your arms seem to grow. Imprisoned by my sin, torn by war within, who will rescue me? How will I be saved? Sometimes I do try to fight. I have the wish to do what is right. But I give up. It is just a losing war; He's got me all the more. Body fights with my mind, there's no peace that I can find. In my weak and dying heart the law of sin is slowly tearing me apart so ... Please, please let me go. Your arms seem to grow. Imprisoned by my sin, torn by war within, who will rescue me? How will I be saved?
12.
Thank God 01:53
Thank God through Jesus Christ, our Lord. There is no condemnation now for those who are in Jesus Christ! Because through Him the law of the spirit of life has set me free. Jesus Christ, our Lord has set me free from the law of sin and death. Jesus Christ, our Lord!
13.
Abba Father 01:21
For you did not receive the spirit of slavery merely to fall back down into fear, But you have received the spirit of sonship. When we cry, “Abba, Father”, It is the Spirit himself bearing witness with our spirit that we are the Children of God, And if children, heirs of God, fellow heirs with Christ, If we share in his sufferings that we may also be glorified with Him.
14.
Suffering 03:31
If we are God's dear children, with Jesus we are heirs. And to partake of Jesus' glory His sufferings we must share. Father help us, in our weakness, our sufferings to bear. This suffering, O, this suffering gladly we can bear. For this present suffering cannot be compared To the glory of the future the Father has prepared. As we await your coming keep us from Satan's snares. And help us remember You are the God who cares. The Spirit groans for us in prayer.
15.
For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself, The Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.
16.
17.
And We Know 04:30
And we know all things work together for good For those who love God and are called According to His purpose.
18.
Who can separate us from the love of God? Can we trust God? Can anyone accuse us? Will we be condemned? Will He excuse us? Who can separate us from the love of God? Can tribulation, or distress? Persecution, famine or nakedness? How about danger, the threat of the sword? Will they cut us off from the arm of the Lord? I am persuaded that neither death nor life Can separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ, His Son! Not any angels (nor demons), not any present thing (nor future) Can separate us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ, His Son! No power; life nor death; anything else in all creation -- nothing at all! I am persuaded (persuaded) that neither death nor life Can separated us from the love of God that is in Jesus Christ, His Son!
19.
It does not depend on man! Not on his work, not his desire, nor upon anything we can do. It depends on God's mercy. It all depends on God's mercy. Who do you think you are, O, man, to answer back to God? Who do you think you are? Can the thing that is molded say, "Why did you make me this way?" Does not the potter have rights over the clay? Who do you think you are, O, man, to answer back to God? Who do you think you are? Do you think that God's word will fall? Why do you give God the blame? For it is not by your works, but by Him who calls. Do you refute, reprove, reproach and resent; Defame, deplore, demur, oppose, object and dissent? Do you fuss, fret, carp, kick, quarrel, complain? Do you grumble, gripe and grouch? Then do you murmur, moan then give God the blame? Do you dispute, denounce, debate, defy, disapprove? Do you whimper, do you whine, weep, bewail, and accuse? Contend, charge, challenge, contradict, criticize? Do you protest, slur, slander? Do you raise your fist and shake it in front of God's eyes. Who do you think your are, O, man, to answer back to God? And so it was God's plan, don't you see, don't you understand Where His great mercy began? Who do you think you are? You're just a man!

My People 02:39
The riches of His glory! His boundless love has no end To the objects of His mercy; His enemy becomes His friend. It was long ago that He had planned, it was then hat He knew. He called out His own from the Gentiles, from the Jews. Now He calls those "His People" whom He had not claimed. And now He loves the nations who had never known His name. And in the very place where He had said "They are not my own," He calls them sons, by His name they shall be known. Oh, the riches of His glory! His boundless love has no end To the objects of His mercy, His enemy becomes His friend.
21.
Israel 04:24
My prayer and my heart's desire for Israel is that they be saved. Jerusalem, Jerusalem: to you belong the sonship, glory and the law, The promises, the covenants, the patriarchs, the worship, And from your descent comes your Christ, who is your Rock. Will you believe or stumble over Him?
22.
If you confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord And believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you will be saved. For it is with the heart that you believe, believe and are justified. It is with the mouth you confess and are saved. As the scripture says, "Everyone, yes, everyone who trusts in Him will not, will not be put to shame." For there is no difference, Jew or Gentile, the same Lord is Lord of all And He richly blesses all who will call upon His name. Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
23.
O The Depth 03:14
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable are His ways! No eye can see, no ear can hear, no heart can know all his plans. The mind of God—incomprehensible! Oh, how can we understand? Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable are His ways! For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things: Before His face all I can do is bow—Creator, Lord, God, and King Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and unfathomable are His ways! To Him be glory for ever!
24.
With eyes wide open to God's mercies, with eyes wide open I tell you brothers: Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Him. With eyes wide open to God's mercies, with eyes wide open I tell you sisters: Offer you bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto Him. Don't let the world around you squeeze you, try to please you, Gently appease you, or let it deceive you. Don't let the world around you break you, overtake you, remake you into its mold. Don't let the world around you grind you, try to bind you, Let it define you or let it design you. Don't let the world around you rule you, gently cool you, or fool you into its mold. But be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you can test and approve God's perfect will, His good will, His pleasing, His perfect will.
25.
Enemy 03:58
Do not repay anyone for evil. Be careful, do the right thing in God's eyes. If it is possible, as far as you're concerned live at peace with all. And do not take revenge, my friend, but stand back, leave it to the hand of God. For it is written, "I will repay, " says the Lord. If your enemy is hungry, if he's needing to be fed, If your enemy is thirsty give him water to drink and bread. Don't let evil push you down. Do not let it wrestle you to the ground. Don't let it shove you around. Don't be overcome with evil, overpower it with good. For we know the Savior told us—it's specifically what we should. And if he wants the shirt from off your back, or gives your cheek a smack, Love your enemy! If you love the ones who love you, you are walking in a rut. If you only love your brothers, so what! You must love your enemies. Pray for those who persecute you, yes, these. Pray for them on your knees. Don't be overcome with evil, overpower it with good, For we know the Savior told us—it’s specifically what we should. And if he wants the shirt from off your back, or gives your cheek a smack, Love your enemy!
26.
Hymn 05:18
Your attitude should be the same as Christ Jesus who was in His own nature God. He did not consider equality with God something to be grasped. And He made Himself nothing: He became a servant, a servant just for us: He became a man. And being found in appearance like a man He humbled Himself And became obedient unto death, even death on a cross! Therefore God has exalted Him to the highest place; He's given Him a name above every name, That at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow, every tongue confess: Jesus Christ is Lord! God exalted Him, gave Him a seat in the highest place. He gave Jesus a name above every name. Jesus Christ is the Lord up in heaven, on earth, under earth, Over the angels and mankind, and animals—all creatures. Every knee shall bow, every tongue confess: Jesus Christ is Lord! Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God!
27.
Now may the Lord of perseverance and hope grant that you may live in peace. In one accord and perfect harmony may our praise of God increase. For Christ was made a slave to the Jews to show God keeps His word. And for His mercy to them the Gentiles now sing (Therefore I will give praise to Thee among the Gentiles Therefore I will praise Thee and rejoice.) And that is why this song is heard.
28.
Glory! 05:41
Glory be to the only wise God forever through Jesus Christ! Amen. Now to Him who can make you to stand according to my gospel, the Good News, And the preaching of Jesus Christ according to the word given to you Of the mystery which was hid for long, long ages was concealed. But now made known through the prophets by God's command it is revealed. The mystery was made known to the nations that they might believe and obey. To the only wise God be the glory, forever through Jesus we pray. Glory be to the only wise God forever and ever. Amen.
